Shalom offers up to 15 full-time residential places as well as catering for residents on a temporary respite basis.
There is an abundance of loving and expert care offered by trained staff, with a staff nurse being present 24 hours a day.
The individual needs of the client are given full consideration and regular contact is maintained with families to ensure that all physical and psychological needs of their family member are met by the staff at Shalom.
Specialised diets can be accommodated for those who may have difficulty implementing a specific regime at home.
Shalom is surrounded by ample land, offering all residents, whether through independent movement or assisted by staff, outdoor activities in fresh air, natural surroundings and with the companionship of farm animals.
Significant attention is given to ensuring a “home-from-home” atmosphere. Family members are encouraged to create a personalised environment for their resident family member within Shalom.
